(FIC\u00c9S)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h5><em>SPECIFIC COMPONENT OF THE <a href=\"https:\/\/fonds-risq.qc.ca\/financial-products\/transition-fund\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #f5f5f5;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TRANSITION FUND<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/em><\/h5>\n<h3><em>MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $250,000 PER ENTERPRISE<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>The FIC\u00c9S offers all the necessary flexibility to respond to the needs of projects with strong potential for growth and\/or innovation.<\/p>\n<p>This revenue-based financing was developed to support social economy enterprises through their pre-startup, startup or expansion phases.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of the investment is determined according to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The size of the enterprise and the scope of the project<\/li>\n<li>The project\u2019s projected revenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The organization\u2019s borrowing capacity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row correction via_flex valign_middle type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner us_custom_1ac84539\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>OBJECTIVS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the <strong>emergence <\/strong>of innovative projects<\/li>\n<li>Drive the <strong>growth<\/strong> of existing enterprises<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the <strong>expansion<\/strong> of social economy enterprises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium with_line width_default thick_1 class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Financing is based on the enterprise\u2019s revenues and is complementary to other sources of solidarity financing.<\/li>\n<li>Investment duration and repayment is adapted to the enterprise\u2019s rate of growth.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible repayments that never exceed a pre-established ceiling:\n<ul>\n<li>Variable portion determined as a function of projected revenues (royalties);<\/li>\n<li>Fixed portion determined as a percentage of the initially invested capital;<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of making additional payments (total or partial) without penalty;<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of reducing the amount owed through accelerated repayment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Commitment fee:\u00a01.5% of authorized total<\/li>\n<li>Application fee of $300 is deducted from commitment fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row correction via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2>ELIGIBLE PROJECTS AND EXPENDITURES<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/fonds-risq.qc.ca\/nos-produits-financiers\/admissibilite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span>The enterprise must demonstrate the growth and\/or innovation potential of its project and the relevance of securing revenue-based financing.<\/p>\n<p>Enterprises must, depending on the type of project,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have developed a minimally viable, functional product that successfully addresses the problem in question (ready for the commercialization phase);<\/li>\n<li>Own the intellectual property or the exclusive, unlimited and irrevocable commercialization rights for all intangible assets derived from an innovation project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The eligible expenditures for the project are<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Working capital<\/strong> needs<\/li>\n<li>Hiring of <strong>internal or external human resources<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Expenditures related to <strong>project deployment<\/strong> (improving a product\/service, commercialization\u2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>INELIGIBLE analyst prepares a report<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of analysis report to the Investment Committee. Depending on the committee\u2019s decision, committee members recommend that the Board of Directors accept or refuse the financing request; occasionally they recommend changes.<\/li>\n<li>If accepted, signing of RISQ\u2019s offer of investment<\/li>\n<li>Validation of compliance with preconditions contained in the offer of investment, and disbursement of loan<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up by RISQ until loan by-laws (including borrowing by-law) or internal rules of governance<\/li>\n<li>Documentation on the group that is initiating the project, including r\u00e9sum\u00e9s for the human resources
