Presentation of the enterprise
This is a not-for-profit group with the mandate of social and vocational integration of individuals suffering from autism spectrum disorder, mild intellectual impairment, or primary language impairment. As part of a catering operation for schools and early childhood centres, and after receiving one year of training, the clientele, aged over 16, will acquire the skills they need to find a job in the food industry. In addition, l’épicurien et moi provides cooking workshops for young people aged 8 to 21.
“We believe in the importance of helping each person develop healthy eating habits and self-sufficiency in food preparation. We must reduce the isolation, adaptation difficulties, confinement, poverty, self-esteem problems, and anxiety linked to these conditions…”
Evelyne Perreault, President
