Accès-Travail de Montréal
Presentation of the enterprise
Created in 1991, Accès-Travail de Montréal, a not-for-profit group, provides job search and vocational guidance services for residents of the Island of Montréal with a view to developing their employability and fostering social inclusion. Every year, their services benefit nearly 4,000 individuals, who are welcomed with respect, professionalism, cooperation, and fairness in their efforts to return to the job market.
“We are currently developing our social economy enterprise, Pain et Délices. It is going to be a specialized allergen-free bakery and pastry shop that will contribute to the development and support of the community through low-cost food workshops and a work project for individuals over 30 with little schooling who are excluded from the labour market.”
Patrick Lopez, project manager for Pain et Délices
