CANADIAN CO-OPERATIVE INVESTMENT FUND– CCIF
LOANS BETWEEN 50 k$ AND 1,25 M$
RISQ’s mandate is to submit and analyze cooperative projects in Quebec that meet the Fonds canadien d’investissement coopératif (FCIC) criteria.
A $25 million fund with a pan-Canadian reach, the CCIF offers flexible loans adapted to the specific stage of development and needs of cooperatives.
ELIGIBILITY

- Variable interest rate depending on the risk assessment (between 5 and 8%)
- Financial guarantee
- Initial fee of 1.5%.

FONDATION BÉATI
50% LOAN GUARANTEE ON RISK-CAPITALIZATION FINANCINGS
The partnership with Fondation Béati makes possible the investment of larger amounts and capittal to enterprises, as financial risk is shared and minimized to each party through a loan guarantee on certain financing granted to RISQ’s capitalization component.
ELIGIBILITY
- Social economy enterprises (NPOs and CO-OPs) that have obtained a capitalization loan from RISQ
- Projects which social priority is based on
- The revitalization of regional communities through the development of a solidarity-based economy
- The improvement of the living conditions of people living in poverty.

Initiative Immobilière communautaire du Grand Montréal
Investment fund to support community organizations in a real estate project.
Initiated by Centraide of Greater Montreal and Coalition montréalaise des Tables de quartier and supported by some fifteen partners, this funds is adapted to the reality of community organizations to support the long-term financial viability of the project.
Fiducie du Chantier de l’économie sociale, in collaboration with Réseau d’investissement social du Québec, is its operator.

PATIENT CAPITAL LOAN
This fund was specifically designed to allow the financing of affordable student housing in the social economy to better meet the needs of Quebec’s student population. Our partner, the Fiducie du Chantier de l’économie sociale, is the manager of the fund.
ELIGIBILITY
- Social economy enterprises (NPOs and CO-OPs)
- Provide affordable, long-term rent to students
NEEDS
- Construction
- Renovate
- Make the building functional for rental
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Investment in 2 installments (upon completion of the project and stabilization of the building)
- Annual repayment for a maximum of 85% of the generated funds
- Refinancing in the fifteenth year of the balance of the FILE loan
